Richard Diesslin manages to pack a lot into his drawings and
keep the wording to a minimum – a real achievement. Many
cartoonists consider a “sight gag,” where all or most
of the humor is purely visual, the most accomplished type of

Rich may be a quiet, reserved guy, but he’s full of very
funny and fresh ideas which you’ll really enjoy in Out to

If Rich Diesslin wasn’t a cartoonist, he should have
been a baseball player because he is constantly out in left field!
Rich has the uncanny ability to turn a gag on it’s ear and
blind side you. In a world of homogenous cartoon books I think
you will find Rich’s humor a welcome change of pace.

Out to Lunch is a fitting title for this collection of hilariously
wacky comic panels. Rich has done a fine job of tapping into
his inner-goofball and creating a fine menagerie of silliness
