Sesame Street Live Muppets Help Cartoonist Rich Diesslin
Conduct a Drawing Clinic for the Patients of the Children’s Medical Center

Cartoonist Rich Diesslin has a passion for drawing. For years, he’s been sharing that
passion with scouts, school groups and kids undergoing treatment at the Children’s Medical
Center by conducting drawing clinics and demonstrations.

“There have been some pretty good and imaginative artists over the years. In the case of my
Children’s Medical Center visits, I think the drawing helps to take their minds off the reason
they’re there,” says Diesslin.

Diesslin loves mixing subjects of interest with humor in his clinics. Cookie and Super Grover
were both in town performing in Sesame Street Live’s all-new production of “Super Grover! Ready for Action."

“Grover is one of my favorite characters. I can still remember him teaching me ‘near and far’,”
says Diesslin. “I hope the kids will enjoy the session as much as I will.”
