I am invoking cartoonist privilege to overstate the case here. This cartoon is meant to call attention to the power of Jesus' name and the problem with the disciples concern. Not only did the disciples want position in heaven, they wanted to be Jesus' exclusive interpreters on earth. Perhaps this latter thought was as scary to Jesus as it appears to be to Mark! Since the disciples missed the point so often, who were they to correct others? Who are we to do so?
