If you still don't think that Jesus' teachings and parables used humor ... this one should convince you.
"... give your cloak as well" would leave you standing there naked! Some translations use shirt rather
than cloak, which unfortunately serves to soften the humor and the point. And what is that point? Go
overboard to show that those who follow Jesus are exceedingly generous, humble, kind and loving.
