Day 1 - Sunday December
14th, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Rick London's "Partridge in"
Simeon Liebman's "Pear Tree"
Welcome to Day 1! I hope you will join us each day
for a unique romp through
the Christmas season. Mostly silly, sometimes a little serious,
but always fun!
As host, it's my duty to make observations and comments, just
to keep the good
times rolling. Now just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a fateful trip,
that started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship ...
oops ... wrong story!
Today's cartoons are from Rick London and Simeon Liebman! Enjoy!
-Rich Diesslin, your TCDC host!
Don't you just hate it when that happens!
Hmmm, kinda looks like a reindeer? Nah ... unless it's the Little
St. Nick's reindeer!
Do you hear Beach Boys music?
Well, I guess it's okay - as long as it brings presents!
Do you think this is one of the Real Macaws?

Day 4 - Wednesday December
17th, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Dina "4 Calling Birds" Pagil-Gerner
Remember that old game called "telephone"
where you send a message
through several people and then compare the original message to
the last
version of it ... and it is almost always very different?
Well guess what ...
... four calling birds don't do the game any better!
(And they can't even blame their cell phones!)
Here's how I think it went:
Original: All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!
1. All she wants for Christmas is her two plucked geese?
2. All he wants for Christmas is two licked fleece.
3. All it wants is two light sheep!
4. Just send something for two left feet!
Moral of the story: Don't believe everything a little
bird tells you!
Day 5 - Thursday December
18th, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Joel "5 Golden Rings" Coughlin
and Featuring Joseph Carlson
and a few bonus cartoons!
Joel is sharing the lime light with his cartoonist
cousin Joseph!
Now that's a nice thing to do for Christmas don't you think!?!
I hope you enjoy both of their efforts! I played the role of "reverse
gag writer" ... they gave me the graphic and I came up with
the gag! Fun and Challenging! -Rich
Joel's Toon:
Come on Gollum ... 5 rings are better than none!

2 Bonus Toons!
Thought a few more toons would be in order. I hope
you enjoy these
classic London's Times cartoons by Rich Diesslin and Rick London
...
Please do not try cartoon stunts at home ... these snowmen are
trained professionals!
And what Christmas would be complete without an Elvis impersonator?

Day 6 - Friday December
19th, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Lan Hoang "6 Geese A-laying" Vu (a.k.a.
VAL)
Normally I'd add my cute little TCDC Host comments
but since VAL's an editorial cartoonist
and these cartoons are more "pictoral statements" ...
you'll have to make up your own! -Rich
Day 9 - Monday December
22nd, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Leonard "9 Ladies Dancing" Cachola
Can't wait for the DVD ... in living color (or not)!
You can tell this isn't the real Santa ... he would have
said to use a google search!
Nah! He'd have said to tune in to TCDC tomorrow for that ... drop
by then and
see what I mean!
Day 10 - Tuesday December
23rd, 2003
Featuring Cartoons by ...
Karl "10 Lords A-Leaping"
Looking for some reason for the season cartoons!
You are in luck today!
While most of the TCDC cartoons hit on the generic meaning of
the Christmas
Season, Karl's message is expressly Christian. He is sharing with
us his fun and pointed
Church Mice series (with panels created for TCDC) along with some
other more
general Christmas cartoons. It is the Twelve Cartoon Days
of Christmas after all.
Enjoy! - Rich
Leaping is over-rated anyway <g>!!!
Just don't tell the ACLU that church allows public prayer
- they might sue!
You really don't want to annoy a preacher mouse. Trust me, it
can get ugly<g>!
A dim bulb for sure!
Cheese Grommet! Cheese! A fragrant melody!
Better than being in a jam!
<sorry I can't believe I said that>
